Humans, or human beings, are bipedal primates belonging to the Terran mammalian species Homo sapiens in the family Hominidae. The humans consists of a single species (Humans), two genders (Man and Woman, see figure), and various nearly indistinguishable pseudo subspecies. Modern humans originated on Earth about 200,000 years ago, and they now inhabit every continent on the planet, with a total population of over 6.6 million as of Earth year 2007. Humans have visited their single moon (AlphaOne:Luna) but have no permanent establishments there. Humans also occupy via proxy the planet Mars within their solar system.
